Turvallisuus-website

HTML5HTML5
CSSCSS

This project originated from a collaboration with a Security and Risk Management student. The goal was to create an informative website as a final course project to support safety planning for sports events. The site was later incorporated into the student's thesis.

Design and Implementation

The project began by outlining the content, followed by a meeting where I presented suggestions for the visual layout. My implementation process included:

  • Wireframing: I carefully planned the structure before starting the coding phase.
  • Bootstrap: I chose the Bootstrap framework to ensure the website is fully responsive.
  • Accessibility: Special attention was paid to web accessibility and the correct usage of HTML elements.

Key Learnings

Having previous web development experience from years before CSS styles became standard, this project was a great opportunity to update my skills to modern standards.

  • I utilized various CSS effects to enhance the visual appeal.
  • I integrated Font Awesome icons to improve clarity.
  • During the project, I learned a lot about responsiveness, managing style sheets, and modern web design.

The final result is a pleasant, clear, and user-friendly website that works seamlessly on both desktop and mobile devices.
